The workshop

The GPR LIGHT Sciences and Applications gathers a local community of scientists developping researches in quantum physics and photonics.

The workshop Hybrid Systems for Quantum Technologies of the GPR LIGHT will be held on May 11-12 2023 in Bordeaux University Campus. It will cover recent advances in the field with a particular focus on:

  • hybridizing mechanical nano-oscillators with quantum systems
  • collective effects in hybride quantum systems
  • interplay between quantum states, nano-optics, and magnetism.

The meeting will be organized with 3 kinds of communication:

  • Invited tutorials: 40min invited tutorials (+5min questions) will be given by internationally renowned speakers who will introduce their research topic and present their latest advances. The confirmed tutorial speakers are:

Dr Laure Mercier de Lépinay, Aalto University

Dr Uros Delic, University of Vienna

Dr Audrey Bienfait, ENS de Lyon

    Pr Julien Laurat, Sorbonne University

Pr Marzena Szymanska, University College London

Dr Martin Robert de Saint Vincent, University of Sorbonne Paris Nord

  • Contributed presentations: 30min contributed talks (+5min questions) will be given by local experts to present their research on Hybrid Systems for Quantum Technologies and led within the GPR LIGHT program.

  • Contributed posters: All participants are invited to submit a poster contribution that will be discussed through a lively poster session. Please refer to the Registration section.

LAB TOUR

Dear participants, you will have the opportunity to undergo a Lab Tour on Friday 12th May (2pm - 5pm). Reasearch groups in LOMA and LP2N will welcome you in their labs and present their experiments. If you want to enjoy this convivial moment, please specify which lab you would like to visite in the registration form.

REGISTRATION & ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION

Deadline for Registration & Submission: Wednesday the 26th of April 2023 at 11.59 pm (Paris time)

The participation is free, however, registration is mandatory. You can register here. Note that registration can only be done with a SciencesConf.org account. Therefore, if you have one, please use it, if not, please create one.
